meet our media specialist, Ms. Cordiero!
Ms. Cordiero is coming to us from NC Public Schools after 32 years. She has taught middle school for 9 years, high school French for 9 years, and she has worked in a high school library for 12 years. She completed her bachelor’s degree in French at Lenoir-Rhyne University and her Master’s in Library Science at Appalachian State University. She and her husband, James, have 2 daughters, Bella and Emma! She recently welcomed her grandson, Ezra. When she's not taking care of her family, she is also caring for her animals--cats, rabbits, a Golden Retriever and a horse! In her spare time, she loves to read. Her favorite books are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and all of the Harry Potter series. In fact, she has a slight Harry Potter obsession. Her kitchen is decorated with Harry Potter things, including a spice rack where she made every label and made it look like potion ingredients! Her Hogwarts house is Ravenclaw.
